When the legendary "Grande Dame of the East", the Peninsula Hong Kong, announced they would take Shark Fin Soup of their menu it was considered a bold and awesome move. To teach their staff about it, a presentation was held for which I created all the slides and a poster.
With Germany being my home turf, I´m well aware of our painfully coloured history. Therefore, one cause I was more than glad to support, is the No-Nazi.Net crew in their project to eliminate nazi sympathisers, particularly those operating on social platforms. I designed a website for them including a content management system which will help to attract more young people to take action against the brainless crowd.

Racing The Planet organizes awesome marathon events all over the globe. For their newest additions the "Maratones Del Vino" series I was asked to create a logo. Since the concept of the race includes a lot of wine tasting while actually running A LOT of miles I had to have a few glasses of red while working on it. Only a few, promise.
Kat Roma is a Australian arts manager, producer and perfomance maker currently based in Hong Kong. I created the stationery for her successful business.
Anton Friedrich is an architect and designer with many facets.
I developed a logo using his initials to visualise his main field of work - architecture.
I´m always one for supporting good causes and campaigns. And the goal, to create a quality radio landscape in my home town Dresden/Saxony was more than that. My team from koenixkinder and I showed our support in creating a logo, print collateral and awesome posters and of course a website.
All that helped to collect more than 3500 signatures. Without success, listening to public radio in Dresden still is a pain in the ear.

When Fluid / Hong Kong pitched for the web redesign for the huge luxury retail unit Trinity I created a look&feel and a few screens. And apparently I did well, the pitch was won against some global players and the website is now to be completed.
The Peninsula Hong Kong is Hong Kong's oldest hotel and one of its finest. For their HR team I created a series of presentations in a distinctive illustrational style.
Hong Kong is Asia´s food capital and therefore it was surprising that there was no existing table booking website. This is gonna change pretty soon, but it´s still not online, so here´s a little sneak preview of how it might look.
koenixkinder´s master copywriter Robert needed a fresh identity and online portfolio. Out of the question that we took care of it straight away. A clean, nice and personal look for the website along with a slash type logo. Done! *with my team at koenixkinder.com
Apart from the monthly flyer program I designed for years, there have been the odd show and a few event series I did posters, logos and flyers for.
The Roving Race leads you to places like Nepal or Jordan but I am not so sure I would even appreciate the country side while running 250km with a total elevation loss of almost 10000 metres. But that´s just me. Oh, that´s a logo for their event.
When Opel relaunched a new car a massive press conference was held. To guide journalists around, vintage trailers were set up as landmarks. To make them look even more sexy we were asked to design 3 of them with our trademark illustration style.
For the christening of my daughter I designed a little invite. Printed with letterpress.
Do I need to say anything about Death Cab for Cutie? Probably not.
I love them and would have looked forward to their Europe Tour anyway,
now that I was asked to design the tour poster - even more!
Moutique is a boutique booking agency with a really nice portfolio of talents. I actually love all of their handpicked bands. Seems like they like my style as well, as I ended up doing a lot of tour posters for them.
The MDR is the public tv station for middle Germany. They also have a very active online community which they needed a set of icons designed for. Here they are.
I not only love creating logos but I really get a kick out of a well thought through, cleverly designed trademark. Here are a few from over the last years.

While working with the Australian event agency fuzzy on some projects, an expanse of Print Collateral for their flagship event Parklife was created. From posters to ads to tickets to programs to scrims everything needed to look fresh.
Usually banks are not that cool when it comes to their publications. The "Saechsische Sparkasse" was actually quite open minded and supported a fresh and modern look for their magazine targeted at their young adult customers.
Scheune Dresden is the place to go in terms of good quality independent music. Playing talents from all over the world not restricted to a specific style it never fails to impress and surprise. For many years I was responsible for the monthly program flyer as well as the odd special event poster.
indie.com was created to compensate the lack of a German arthouse movie online rental service. And since film is one of our passions, we were more than happy to create a look & feel for the start up and design the website.
ILoveHongKong.com is the go to website for anyone interested what´s going in Hong Kong. It was in need of a fresh facelift and also some major changes information architecture wise.
For the album tour for "All of a sudden I missed everyone" of the great
"Explosions in the Sky" I designed a 2 colour screenprint poster.
I gave the German Bike Messenger Championship in the border triangle of Czech Republic, Poland and Germany a fresh look including branding, print collateral of all sorts, trophies, hats, stickers and what not. And of course a stylish website.

While freelancing for Digital Eskimo in Sydney I designed the initial look & feel for the big analysis and satire website New Matilda. There is a lot of hidden technical goodies involved yet the site feels very light.
For the cad – studio Cadlok I created a basic corporate design.
Logo, stationery and a simple website helped to get a good kickstart into the industry.

The Canadian musical collective Broken Social Scene is played quite often in the studio. This made it even more fun to create the tour poster for their tour through Europe.
I love sports, and if there is water, waves and wind included, even better.
This kiteboard was designed for Anti Gravity and we not only kept in mind that it should look awesome, but it should be easy to find whenever you lose it in the water. (which unfortunately happens sometimes..)
I was honoured to design the European tour poster for the great band Blonde Redhead.
Two colour screenprint.
